Elizabeth Ledesma Santana is an Academic Advisor for the Utah Tech Student Success Program and an instructor for SSC 1010/1025R and SSC 1055R courses. A first-generation college graduate from a low-income, immigrant household, Elizabeth earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a minor in Communications. Having personally benefited from programs like TRIO and actively engaged with community organizations, she is deeply committed to supporting students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them navigate academic challenges and achieve their full potential.
Elizabeth is currently applying to the Master of Social Work program at the University of Utah, driven by her passion for social justice and empowering individuals and communities. Her work is fueled by her personal journey and her dedication to mentorship, student success, and creating opportunities for others to thrive in higher education.
