Jamie Kearra began her career in Montana, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and subsequently earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology. She worked as a therapist before transitioning into a career in higher education. She then went on to earn her PhD in higher education leadership, with her dissertation examining the mindset and student success of at-risk college students. She currently serves as the Director of the Student Success Program and the START Scholar Academy, both of which work with at-risk students entering higher education. She has a passion for helping students succeed through higher education. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, and playing with her dogs.
